Summer X 2016/17

JBBArts Annual Art Competition and Exhibition

The venue for Summer X this year is the Jervis Bay Retreat, Woollamia as the Vera Hatton Gallery at the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum is being used for other purposes during the peak summer period. The JB Retreat has existing tracking for 2D works and was the most viable of other spaces considered. Due to the venue location, additional signage will be provided and a number of events are planned to bring locals and visitors to the venue. Unfortunately the space available at this venue is a lot less than the Vera Hatton Gallery so hanging artworks will be limited to one or two works per artist (depending on number of entries).

‘Emergence’     18th Dec to 17th January at the Vera Hatton Gallery, Jervis Bay Maritime Museum

It was a really great exhibition. A larger percentage of artwork sales than previous exhibitions and

feedback about the ’emergence’ exhibition has been very positive.
