Shared Pathways

The Sandholme Salon Show is the festival’s main visual art show presenting the works of more than 25 artists working across diverse media: painting; photography; drawing; illustration; sculpture; textiles; ceramics; digital multi media. The theme for this show was ‘Shared Pathways’.

The Sandholme Guest House, hosting this exhibition, is a unique property situated in Huskisson. The grand scale and proportions of this significant local building are perfect for presenting this rich variety of art in a salon environment

Within the main body of the show sit two discrete exhibitions: Then and Now – A Snapshot of Times by Gary Smith, and Reading the Bherwerre Wetlands, a group exhibit presenting multiple artists’ responses to local land under environmental restoration.

Open every day of the festival the Sandholme Salon show is enriched with recitals of music, talks and congenial gatherings.
