This workshop will take place in the landscape at Jervis Bay Retreat, Woollamia. Participants will be guided through a series of processes from observation to abstraction to develop a personal response to a subject within this environment. A variety of materials and mediums including colour washes, collage and ink pens will be used with observational and experimental techniques including various tools and approaches throughout the day to develop an artwork.
This workshop can be enjoyable and useful for anyone interested in developing ideas and playing with materials and processes. It is not necessary to be experienced at art making, though this is not a disadvantage, come along and enjoy the process. There are kitchen facilities to heat food. Tea and coffee will be provided.
