The Hornsby Art Prize is an annual art competition and exhibition. It is organised and sponsored by Hornsby Shire Council and delivered in partnership with the Hornsby Art Society.

This non-acquisitive prize is open to all artists resident in Australia, aged 18 years and over. In 2018, the competition has a total prize pool valued at over $23,000, with the major prize worth $10,000.

Artists are invited to submit works in one of the five categories; painting, printmaking, drawing, 3D works or Digital Art – Stills. Entries close 31 July 2018. Submissions are to be made online, and entry costs $40.

The Hornsby Art Prize Finalists’ Exhibition will be held at Hornsby Shire Council’s award-winning, Wallarobba Arts and Cultural Centre, 25 Edgeworth David Ave, Hornsby, from Wednesday 17 to Sunday 28 October. It is presented as part of the annual Hornsby Shire Festival of the Arts.
