DAY 1 Saturday May 29th

1 FESTIVAL OPENING EVENT

Lady Denman Heritage Complex, Dent St Huskisson. Saturday May 29th 10am - 4 pm

Entry: $5 adult, $4 concession $3 child also entitles you to In Deep and the Little Archie on this day only. The Museum and the ferry will be closed to entry. See Change patron Richard Morecroft will officially open the festival at noon. A celebration starring the Shoalhaven Youth Orchestra, dancers, musicians, choirs, indigenous performers, art demonstrations and children's activities. Enjoy tasty treats from a variety of food stalls. Experience the work of over 100 artists in two exciting major group exhibitions.

2 IN DEEP

Lady Denman Heritage Complex Dent St Huskisson Saturday May 29th to Sunday June 13th Open every day 10 am - 4 pm

Entry (after May 29th) $5 adult, $4 concession $3 child entitles you to non-transferable repeat-entry ticket to In Deep and Little Archie for duration of festival Opening Saturday May 29th during the Grand Opening of See Change One of the twin centrepieces of See Change, In Deep is the major Jervis Bay and Basin Arts group exhibition. Sculpture, painting and other media will be shown in the Long Gallery at the Lady Denman Museum and in the depths of the well of the Lady Denman's dry dock. Large sculptural works will be found in the grounds with its variety of environments.

3 THE LITTLE ARCHIE

Entry (after May 29) $5 adult, $4 concession $3 child entitles you to non-transferable repeat-entry ticket to In Deep and Little Archie for duration of festival Opening Saturday May 29th during the Grand Opening of See Change Judges: Madeleine Halliday, Richard Morecroft, and Sue Saxon One of the twin centrepieces of See Change The Little Archie is a portrait of a community. Can you recognize the people in our neighbourhood? A rich diversity of portraiture in many styles and media competing for a grand prize of $1000, a photographic portrait prize of $500 and the chance to win the People's Choice Prize as well as framing generously donated by Huskisson Picture Framing. Lucky People's Choice voter prize of a Konica digital camera donated by Husky Fast Photos.

4 FACE TO FACE

Meet the Artists Saturday May 29th, 4.30pm - 6.30pm Glenda Borchard, Helen Nugent and Vicki Robinson

Figure and landscape based on observation, memory and imagination. The artists use distortion, idealisation and caricature as expressive devices. Face to Face is an exploration of a variety of encounters expressed in oil/acrylic paintings, collagraph prints and ceramics. Various techniques are used to develop the possibilities of texture pattern and colour.

5 DJ's DOWN BY THE SEA

St Georges Basin Country Club 11 Paradise Beach Rd, Sanctuary Point. Saturday May 29th, 8pm Over 18.

A mix of break-beats from DJs Craig Ryan, Mark Rigby and Bustin Production's Ben Henderson with their trademark mash-up of breaks, house and hip-hop will guarantee to get the dance floor moving. Vincentia High Art students work displayed in the foyer of St Georges Basin Country Club

6 NOAH THE MUSICAL

Huskisson Anglican Church 17 Hawke St Huskisson Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th May. Friday 4th, Saturday 5th, Sunday 6th June and Friday 11th, Saturday 12th, Sunday 13th June 7pm + Sunday matinees at 2 pm. Cost: Free

All is not well on the Ark. The animals are all bored stiff, and fed up with Mrs Arkwright's endless asparagus recipes. How will they resolve their dreadful dilemma, and what is the ominous meaning of those dark sails on the horizon? All these questions, and more, will be answered at - NOAH the Musical - A Strictly Vegetarian Cruise!
